The Gocongo Code of Conduct is one of the ways we all can contribute towards becoming a more socially conscious and successful company. It's built around the recognition that everything we do in connection with our work at Gocongo will be, and should be, measured against the highest possible standards.
So please do read the Code, and follow it, always bearing in mind that each of us is responsible to incorporate the principles of the Code into our everyday work.
And if you have a question or ever think that there is someone who is not following the code, don't be silent. We want and need to hear from you.
We expect all of our employees and board members to know and follow the Code. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment. Moreover, whilst the Code is specifically written for Gocongo employees and board members, we expect our contractors and consultants to follow the code in connection with their work for us.
We must treat one another with respect no matter what race, gender or age we have. It is important to remember that a community where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not a productive one.
Collaboration and a team-effort is essential to the way we work and will always produce better results.
Asking questions avoids many problems down the road, and so questions are encouraged.
We must be committed to honest and ethical conduct at all times and under all circumstances.
No matter who we are in the company or what we have achieved, we must maintain a sense of modesty and humility towards others.
Disagreements, both social and technical happen all the time. It is important that we resolve disagreements and differing views constructively and with the help of consultation. We have a Human Resource manager who you may address in case of the need for consultation with anyone.
